Basic Pistol Course
Great for Beginners
V00DO offers basic training courses using NRA approved course material to help beginners. Develop fundamental skills for operating a handgun, build confidence on the firing line, and learn best practices for firearm safety and maintence.
All courses are scheduled through the NRA official website, membership is not required but recommended. See link below to register for our next class!

State Requirement
New Jersey requires applicants to complete in‑person, instructor‑led firearms training and a supervised live‑fire qualification under a certified instructor. Our course includes the required classroom instruction, hands‑on safety training, and live‑fire qualification to meet the state’s training standard.
Safe Handling
Students will be taught and expected to demonstrate proper handling of a semi-automatic pistol, Double Action and Single Action revolver.
Firearm mechanics
Learn the different parts of a firearm and their function. Basics for cleaning and operation of a firearm.
Shooting Fundamentals
Understand your dominant shooting position and the core fundamentals to hit the target.
Live Fire Practice
Our instructor led & blended courses include Range and rentals.
All live ammunition must be purchase from the range. We do not provide ammunition.
Live fire qualifications will be done on the range for NRA certifications.

In-person Instructor led
8-hour one day group classes taught at Ready Aim Fire in Bristol PA.
Course cost cover range firearm rental and lane.
Live ammunition can only be purchased from the Range.

Blended online Instructor Led
two day group class.
4 hours of module self paced online
4 hours of in-person review and demonstration followed by live range time for qualifications
